Education Officer Support
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Education Officer Supports:
All post-primary education settings who are involved in the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Passport are assigned a regionally based Education Officer who will support them throughout the academic year.
Range of supports:
1. Phone and Email support
Education Officers can be contacted by phone or email to ask advice or to arrange support.
2. On-site or online meeting
Book a meeting to discuss the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Citizenship Education (GCE) programme in your setting. If you are new to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and need advice on how to get started in your school, the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Passport, spending grant funding or you need resources, your dedicated Education Officer is available to help.
3. Whole-School Training
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ provides Whole-School GCE Training which can be part of Croke Park hours for example.
4. Tailored Thematic Workshop
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ provides Tailored Thematic Workshops for schools who want to explore specific ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Justice Themes/SDGs, taking a cross-curricular approach.
5. Subject Specific Training
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ can offer Subject Specific Training for individual teachers or subject departments to guide the exploration of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Justice Themes and/or SDG Goals.
6. Drop-in Clinic
In-person or online advice clinics for individual teachers or a group of teachers, that can be scheduled over the course of a day.
